Résonance exhibition: second part at the FRAC Normandie Rouen
The exhibition Résonance, which began last February at the Rouen Museum of Fine Arts, continues at the FRAC Normandie Rouen, from the 14th of April to the 26th of August, 2018. Just as the first part, it presents works recently acquired by the FRAC. For this second part, the exhibition underlines the ambiguity of the relationships between art and sciences and queries the body through the mask and the body/object issues. The visitor route then meets the thematic of architectural spaces. Nature and its almost-scientific approaches, close to archeology, ethnology or sociology are then emphasis. The exhibition ends up by spotlighting abstraction and its redefinition through different supports.
About the Frac: Founded in 1983, the Frac has a collection of more than 2 400 contemporary works from various international, national and regional artists.
